Chris joined Barnsley Hospice as Director of Finance on a part-time basis in March 2024 and subsequently became Director of Finance and Resources.
Previously, Chris has worked in the energy and environmental service sectors across a number of financial and non-financial leadership roles. Chris is a qualified accountant and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. Chris brings a wealth of experience working in his first post in the health and charity sectors.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his family and involvement in sporting and outdoor activities, but most especially walking and mountaineering.
Chris also follows “mainly unsuccessful” football teams, supporting both Coventry City (since almost birth) and Notts County (his wife’s/son’s team). To de-stress he sings (“badly”).
