A strategy shaped by our community

‘Shaping Our Future’ sets our strategic direction for 2026–2030. It builds on the progress we have made through Going Beyond Outstanding, while recognising that the world around us continues to change.

Demand for palliative and end of life care is growing. The needs of our community are changing. The economic environment has become increasingly challenging, and the way charities raise income continues to evolve.

Our new strategy responds to those challenges, keeping what matters most at its heart: providing outstanding, personalised care and ensuring Barnsley Hospice remains here for our community for years to come.
