Following the success of our 2019 Forever Flowers appeal, Dedicate a Daisy is a new, very special way of celebrating the life of someone you love.

Our beautiful custom-made steel daisies are now available for pre-order and will be displayed within the hospice grounds later this summer.

For a minimum suggested donation of £25, you can own one of these unique flowers and move it to your own home or garden following the display. Each daisy has a waterproof hollow stem which you can fill with a note to someone special, a photo, or a meaningful keepsake.

Dedications do not have to be someone who has died. The flowers are a poignant way of showing someone you miss that you love them – you could dedicate a daisy on behalf of a family member or friend you are unable to see, or to mark a birthday or celebration.

The flowers will be lovingly constructed over the summer and subject to restrictions, we hope to open up viewing appointments for the display in late August or September. Reserving your flower now will help us through this difficult time.

“There’s something quite special about daisies. They are cheerful, synonymous with summer and a symbol of hope. Dedicating a daisy to a loved one is a perfect way of celebrating their life, showing you care, or simply supporting our hospice to continue its vital work for those who need us.”
- Julie Ferry, CEO, Barnsley Hospice
