Throughout February 2019, local solicitors are once again kindly giving you the opportunity to have your Will written free of charge, in exchange for a donation to the hospice.
Why should I participate in Make a Will Month?
Making a Will and letting your family and friends know your wishes is vitally important, and can be more affordable and straightforward than you think.
Life can change quickly.
Getting married or divorced, having a child or buying a house, or becoming grandparents, can all be reasons to think about getting your affairs in order and making your wishes known.
If you already have a Will, you may need to think about making an amendment (known as a ‘codicil’) to reflect the changes in your life.
How much will it cost?
The solicitors taking part in Make a Will Month are giving their time for free, in exchange for a donation to the hospice, which they will take during your appointment.
Our suggested minimum donations are £90* for single Will, £175* for a pair of mirror Wills and £60 for a codicil*. However, anything extra you are able to give will go a long way to helping us continue our care.
Please note that if your Will is deemed ‘complex’ or involves tax or other specialist legal advice, a fee for any additional work will be agreed in advance.
How do I get involved?
Taking part in Make a Will Month is easy.
