Get ready for a feel-good summer Saturday filled with fun, food and fundraising at Barnsley Hospice!

On Saturday 15 August, we’ll be holding our annual Summer Fair and you’re invited! – Come along and enjoy a brilliant afternoon packed with activities for the whole family!
Between 10 am and 1 pm, The Orangery will be open to the public and filled with a variety of stalls, all helping to raise vital funds to support the hospice and the work we do.
Here are some of the activities you can expect on the day:
Fairground Games inc. Tin Can Alley, Coconut Shy, Bat the Rat and Stocks
Dragonfly Hunt in the garden
Face Painting
Human Fruit Machine
Bric-a-Brac and Craft Stalls
Tombolas and Raffles
Refreshments, Hot Dogs, Cakes & Ice Lollies!
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re popping by to browse or bringing the whole family for a fun day out. Entry is free, and donations are warmly welcomed on the day.
Can’t make it on the day?
Any prize donations would be greatly appreciated. Any unwanted bottles of wine, new or nearly new toys, bags of sweets and bric-a-brac would make a huge difference on the day and can be dropped off at our Reception, any day between 9 am – 5 pm.

Is there parking at the hospice?
Yes, there is free parking at the hospice and along Church Street. We will have volunteers in the car park to help you.
Will there be food and drinks available?
Yes, we will have refreshment stalls set up throughout the day and will be serving food and drink.
Do I need to pay to enter on the day?
No, entry is free and you can just turn up on the day!
Do I need to bring cash?
It’s a good idea to bring some cash to use on our stalls and games. But, we will also have contactless card machines to pay on your phone or card on the day.
