Make a Will Month is our annual campaign where we team up with local solicitors to offer you the chance to have a professionally written Will for a donation to Barnsley Hospice. During this time, participating solicitors generously waive their usual fees, meaning every penny you donate goes directly to Barnsley Hospice, helping us continue providing specialist palliative and end of life care for people and families across our local community.
Why write a Will?
At the hospice, we understand the important of knowing that your wishes are clearly set out and the people you care about are provided for. An up-to-date Will ensures your money, property and possessions are passed on exactly as you intend. It can also ease the burden on your beneficiaries during a difficult time.
How much does it cost?
Taking part in Make a Will Month allows you to have a professionally written Will at a significantly reduced cost. During our campaign, you can create a Simple Will for a suggested minimum donation of £120, or a Mirror Will for £200 – both offering amazing value while supporting local hospice care.
Please note: While these donations cover most Wills, more complex requirements may incur additional fees. Your solicitor will explain any additional costs during your initial appointment, Barnsley Hospice will only recieve the suggested minimum donation, not additional charges.
