How do I leave a gift to Barnsley Hospice in my Will?
Leaving a gift in your Will is easier than you may think. If you choose to support Barnsley Hospice in your Will, your solicitor will need the following details:

If you already have a Will in place but wish Barnsley Hospice to benefit in some way; this can easily be added with a codicil – this is a way of making a change or addition to your existing Will without having to redraft the Will completely. Your solicitor can advise on this.
Alternatively, we regularly host a ‘Make a Will Month’, where local participating solicitors waive their fee in lieu of a donation to the hospice. You do not have to leave a gift in your Will as part of this service. Find out more below.

About our Legacy Tree
In 2022 we unveiled our beautiful Legacy Tree, designed to remember those who have left a gift to the hospice in their Will and recognise the importance of their contribution. Each leaf is carefully crafted and contains the names of individuals who have supported the care that the hospice provides by leaving a gift in their Will.
