Light up a Life in memory of someone you love
Celebrating and remembering loved ones is at the heart of Light Up a Life. We invite you to make a donation and dedicate a light in memory of someone special at Christmas. Every donation makes a huge difference to the care we provide, helping us to support hundreds of local people every year.
Your lights will shine brightly on the beautiful Christmas trees on the hospice grounds and at St Mary’s Church, symbolising the light of loved ones that will forever remain.
Please note: Our team are still finalising plans for Light up a Life 2025, full details will be released later this year.
When are this year’s services?
This year we will be having two services:
- Barnsley Hospice Service – Thursday 4 December 2025 at 6 pm
- St Mary’s Church Service – Sunday 7 December 2025 at 3:30 pm
