Volunteer warehouse stock production

Volunteering in the Warehouse Stock Production role in a small charity means you’ll
be working closely with a team of passionate and dedicated people who are working
hard to make a difference. Although you may only be asked to help for a couple of
hours a week, your support is invaluable because you’ll be helping to keep the
warehouse and retail spaces fully stocked and fully functioning. Duties will include
sorting and moving donations as they cycle through the warehouse.

About the opportunity

Are you looking for a volunteer role that will keep you fit and look after the
environment whilst helping us to raise much-needed funds for our wonderful
Barnsley Hospice?

We currently have a number of positions to fill in our warehouse as we expand our
capacity due to the generous donations given to us by the Barnsley community.
This volunteer role will support our Warehouse Lead in the efficient moving of stock
from donation, to sorting, to repair or upcycling, to display in our retail store and
delivery to our customers. We accept donations of furniture, therefore some of this
work may be quite physical, but it is a varied role and we welcome all applications.

This role offers volunteers the opportunity to gain experience in warehouse tasks
within an inclusive charity setting.
