Qi Gong

What is Qi Gong?

Qi Gong is an ancient practice which originated in China and is still practiced in the present day. It combines good posture and deep breathing with movement aiming to improve mind-body connection and enhance the feeling of health and wellbeing. 

How does it help? 

The combination of deep breathing and movement helps to develop an improved self-awareness of the body, which in turn can lower stress, anxiety and increase focus and balance. Movements can also be adapted based of individuals fitness levels, all exercises demonstrated can be performed standing or seated.

How often should I do it? 

As this is a physical practice, we recommend only doing what feels right to you and stop if you find any of the exercises straining or painful. In this video, each exercise with be demonstrated and explained to you, we then suggest repeating the movement 3-4 times or what feels best for you.
