In 2025/26, 265 people accessed Barnsley Hospice’s counselling services, receiving confidential, compassionate support during some of the most difficult periods of their lives.

Our counselling team supports people affected by serious illness, loss and bereavement, helping individuals and families process their experiences, manage difficult emotions and feel less alone.
