Barnsley Hospice’s popular Retail Hub will return to the town centre for a series of exclusive ‘pop-up’ shops throughout the month of June.
Following a successful week-long pop-up shop in Barnsley last summer, the Retail Hub’s pop-up shop will return every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in June, at the Glass Works in town.
Available to browse and buy will be an array of clothing items, from vintage classics to high-street favourites, as well as pre-loved handbags and shoes.
Simon Lindley, Retail Operations Manager for the Barnsley Hospice Retail Hub, which is based in Dodworth, said: “Once again we’re really excited to bring a taste of our Retail Hub right into the middle of Barnsley town centre for shoppers to enjoy. Last year, we spent a week in Barnsley and were so well supported and received lots of positive feedback, so we are really looking forward to returning this June.
“With Barnsley people supporting us at our pop-up shop, or indeed back at the Retail Hub, they contribute towards helping the hospice deliver its outstanding care in the community. It really is a unique shopping experience where the people of Barnsley will benefit from every purchase made. We look forward to seeing everybody there.”
The Retail hub pop-up shop will be situated on the ground floor of the Glass Works in the unit next to Flannels.
Opening hours will be from 9 am to 5 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, 10 am to 4 pm on Sundays throughout the month of June.
Bringing a pop-up shop to Barnsley town centre provides a great opportunity for shoppers to grab themselves a bargain whilst supporting the hospice’s vital services. The hospice needs to raise two-thirds of its annual income on average by raising funds to ensure the delivery of its vital services.
