We are delighted to be holding the first ever Barnsley Hospice Yorkshire 3 Peaks event. On 17 September 2022, you will join a group of fellow hospice supporters to climb the three most iconic mountains in Yorkshire and raise vital funds for Barnsley Hospice.
The Yorkshire 3 Peaks is simple. 3 mountains, 24 miles, all in under 12 hours. You will take on the three largest mountains in Yorkshire – Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough – climbing 1585m of ascent throughout the duration of the challenge.
To take part, please fill out the form below to register your interest. A member of the Fundraising team will then be in touch to provide further information and answer any questions you might have. Once you are ready to go, we will ask you to pay a £35 deposit, with a further £40 to be taken from your final sponsorship total to cover costs. We ask that all participants raise £350 minimum sponsorship. Easy as that!
Barnsley Hospice began with the fundraising of local people and is still here today because of our community’s generosity. Over the past 28 years, we have provided specialist palliative care for hundreds of local people living with a life-limiting illness, as well as those important to them. The sponsorship you raise will help us to provide this care free of charge when people need it most.
