Simon Atkinson, Corporate Fundraiser at Barnsley Hospice
Our Accumulator Challenge is back for the fifth year running, and Lord Sweetener is looking to hire!
The Accumulator Challenge is the perfect way to join forces with colleagues, friends or even fellow students, to think up the most innovative fundraising idea possible. Barnsley Hospice Corporate Fundraiser, Simon Atkinson (AKA Lord Sweetener), will loan each team £31 at the ready for the 1st May 2022, who will then have 31 days to turn this into as much money as possible.
At the end of the month, we will be awarding two prizes to the winners of:
Taking part couldn’t be easier. Simply fill out the form below, and Lord Sweetener will be in touch to discuss the Accumulator Challenge task that lies ahead!
Businesses are very welcome to take part in the challenges, but so are friends and students alike! If you are unsure whether this is the right fundraiser for you, please contact Simon Atkinson at simon.atkinson@barnsley-hospice.org.
One of the greatest things about our Accumulator Challenge is that the opportunities are endless! Whether it is a cake sale, a dress down Friday or a raffle extravaganza – the decision is yours. We know that life is busy, so we encourage you to find an idea that works for you.
There is no target for teams taking part in the challenge, we just simply ask that you aim to raise as much money as possible from the £31 you are loaned at the beginning of the month.
Each year, along with our other events, the Accumulator Challenge helps to raise vital funds for the hospice. We need to raise almost £2 million each year to run our services, and taking part in fundraisers such as this is a huge support to the hospice.
As well as this, the Accumulator Challenge is great fun to take part in and helps to strengthen bonds between team members. If you don’t believe us, just look at these pictures from previous years!
