Day Therapy Service

Due to lockdown restrictions, we are currently offering a limited virtual service to our day therapy patients.

Information has been sent out to both patients and health professionals.

Please contact 01226 244244 if you require assistance.

Day Therapy is open 10am-2pm every Thursday and provides compassionate care and support for people with a progressive life-limiting illness. Patients are referred if they require specialist medical/nursing support with physical symptoms such as pain, sickness, breathlessness or fatigue. We can also help with emotional support, including adapting to difficult situations, managing anxiety or planning future care needs.

We accept referrals from GPs, Macmillan nurses, community nurses/matrons, social workers or any other healthcare professionals involved in your care. On receipt of your referral we may telephone you if we require further information. New patient assessments take place every Thursday at 11am; you are welcome to bring someone with you to this appointment, should you wish.
