It’s Never Been Easier To Make A Donation!

Huge thanks to each and every one of our supporters who has previously donated or helped us raise money. Demand for our exceptional care increases every year, which means the cost of nursing care is constantly rising, so we are always grateful for your support. We simply wouldn’t be here without you.

If you’d like to donate to the Hospice or know a person or company who would like to, here’s how you can do it:

Online or By Post

Any donation, no matter how small, helps us to continue providing the highest standard of free care to the local community. You can donate online now, or send a cheque (made payable to Barnsley Hospice) to:

Barnsley Hospice, Church Street, Gawber, Barnsley, S75 2RL

In Person

You can also donate by popping into the Hospice itself, or if you are passing one of our shops, they will gladly receive your donation.

Collection boxes- the power of the penny

While that pile of loose change may seem fairly worthless, we’re firm believers that if you look after the pennies, the pounds will look after themselves.

We raised over £16,000 last year thanks to our collection boxes and the loose change boxes we sent to people’s homes, which is a pretty good example of the cumulative power of the penny. Here’s how you can help us turn pennies into pounds:

Companies

Keep a static collection box in your place of work in the reception area, kitchen – or anywhere where lots of people pass. When it gets full you can just give us a call and we’ll come and empty it and replace the box.

Individuals

Keep a cardboard loose change box in your home so it’s on hand when you empty your pockets at the end of the day, or clear your purse of change when it gets too heavy. When it gets full, either count up the money and send us a cheque for the equivalent, or drop the box into one of our shops. We can then send you a replacement box in the post.
