Drivers
We are looking to increase our volunteer drivers team. Currently the team bring in the Limes Day Unit patients but we now wish to expand the volunteer transport service and include those patients needing to attend various other services at the Hospice for example the lympoedoema clinic, counselling and bereavement. The driving volunteers make up a team willing to use their own cars to pick patients up from their home, bring them to the Hospice and return them to their homes. Their mileage allowance is payable.
Volunteers will be selected following an interview with the Limes Day Unit team leader.
