Many charity shops are run almost entirely by volunteers. In the Barnsley Hospice shops there is a Shop Manager and an Assistant Manager who are employed by the Hospice. The rest of the staff are volunteers and both men and women are always needed. YOU can make a difference!
ANYONE who has a little time to spare and would like to use it to benefit Barnsley Hospice can be a volunteer in one of our shops:
Parents with young children
Retired people
Students
Young people looking to improve their job prospects
Those in full or part-time employment
YOU
You do not need any special skills as you will receive on-the-job training. However please tell us of all your skills so that they can be put to good use. Any special interests such as antiques or books, is always much appreciated.
