We are looking for a motivated person who will take pride in ensuring the Hospice premises are kept to a high standard of cleanliness for our patients, staff and visitors. Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided. The ability to work flexibly is essential as the role involves evening and weekend working.

Counsellor (Temporary)
Salary range: £22,586 to £29,751 pro rata / 7.5 hrs per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Counsellor to work within the Specialist Palliative Care Counselling Service based at Barnsley Hospice in a temporary post for six months. The specialist Service offers counselling to people in the Barnsley area who have a diagnosis of cancer or a life-limiting illness and for their relatives and carers.
You will require a Diploma in Counselling as a minimum and be accredited with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy or the UK Council for Psychotherapy (or be eligible for accreditation), along with experience of working with people in palliative care or the bereaved.
