Lymphoedema
Lymphoedema is a chronic swelling that can affect any part of the body but usually occurs in the arm or leg. The swelling leads to a restriction in movement and can have an impact on life-style and independence.
The main focus of lymphoedema care is to reduce the swelling by gentle exercises, self massage techniques and, on some occasions, bandaging or the use of a special compression garment.
