The team at Barnsley Hospice is led by the Board of Trustees who provide the overall strategic direction for the hospice and ensure that the highest standards of governance are maintained throughout all aspects of the operation. The Trustees are all volunteers and do not receive any remuneration for their work.
The Board of Trustees delegate the ‘day to day’ running of the Hospice to the Chief Executive who has overall responsibility for all aspects of Barnsley Hospice’s work. The Chief Executive works with a management team and all are paid members of staff.
